When I am not consulting, I spend my time in creative pursuits. I spent twenty years working in theatre as an actor, playwright (1002 Nights; Canada, 1986) and director (Alien Creature: A Visitation from Gwendolyn MacEwen; Chronic; The Rochdale Project) and served as Acting Artistic Director for Theatre Passe Muraille. I was previously the Executive Director of the Dunedin Literary Festival.
I have written four novels, one stand-alone (Doppelganger) and three as part of a trilogy called When Everything Falls Apart. When solar flares cause a worldwide power outage, Brian, Karen and their 8 year-old daughter Robin must figure out how to survive. Throw in a mid-life crisis, a late-stage pregnancy and a paddle up the Humber River to escape the city and you have the first book of the trilogy.
